Description of Photo We celebrated Dylans 3rd birthday yesterday and I honestly cannot believe she is 3. In case you are new here, first Hello and Hi and Welcome! Dylan is one of my best friend Laura's daughter. Laura had the sweetest unicorn party for her, it was just precious. Its still really hot in September so Laura had a few pools set up for the kids. Ardo and James were in heaven. Ardo can be a little bit hesitant when it comes to daring things and for him a slide in the pool is daring, but Ardo saw all the other kids going for it so I was so happy when he did too. I was so proud of him. I don't have a picture of the big slide but trust me, I wanted to slide down it too. Last year James was just two months old and I remember it being a lot hotter of a day then again I wore James the whole time and if I wasn't wearing him he was nursing, so this year it was much better for me. Description of Photo James wanted to go down the small slide over and over again but the water was just a little high for him so Jerry and I really needed to keep an eye on him. If Ardo is hesitant James is our daring child! Description of Photo The sweetest little unicorn set up full of goodies. I ate 3 donuts, you know in celebration of Dylans birthday of course. Description of Photo I wrote this little story on my instagram but I want to share it again here. I asked Ardo if I could take a picture of him at the party in front of this cute unicorn backyard that Laura made. He said yes and then said he wanted to look "weird" so he smiled and quirked his body a little bit. Then after he asked to see the picture and when he saw it he said "YES! I look weird!" He showed a few people at the party his "weird" picture too. He was so proud of himself and achieving ultimate weirdness! I love this kid. Description of Photo

Description of Photo Description of Photo Ardo has been asking me to go see the animals at the petting zoo. Today was the perfect day. We had nothing planned. Marcy and I went to super Joanns in the morning and then the rest of the day was dedicated to the boys. We packed up (very lightly) and headed to zoomars. The drive is about an hour but honestly, it can take me an hour to go 10 miles sometimes so an hour really is nothing. I honestly love zoomars. The last time we were there James was 6 months old. He stayed in the ergo just about the whole time. This time James was desperate to interact with every animal. Ardo is a little more cautious. I love to watch both of their personalities blossom. We went into the guinea pig area and James was so excited. He touched the guinea pigs and followed them around, he would get so excited when he was able to pet one. We're teaching James how to be gentle and although sometimes he isn't, I think correcting him really helps. Ardo kept insisting the guinea pigs were trying to kiss his cheeks, who knows maybe they were. Ardo is already talking about going back…..Im sure we will.

on my new job

It's been about a month since I started my new job. Guys its an adjustment. Everything starts a little earlier and ends a little later, but we're learning to embrace our new schedules all around. I've learned so much at my job in such a short amount of time. It's been challenging and great at the same time. It was really weird my first day, walking into a new place and not knowing a thing! I knew the person who hired me but only from the interview, I felt like a baby because she literally had to teach me the new phone greeting when you answer the phone. This change tho, its been great for me. Getting laid off was something I never expected, and when this new job came to me I had a feeling it was meant to be, because it found me. I wasn't even looking and in my internal clock I still had another couple of weeks til I was going to start "really looking." There's a couple of things I'm grateful for with my new job, one of the biggest things is that I'm back downtown. It's exciting to work downtown and the hustle and bustle of downtown Los Angeles gets you in a working mood, because everyone is trying to get somewhere … and quickly! I'm trying to balance everything and that includes this blog, I think what I'm going to try and do is take at least 2 days (if not 3) out of the week and just focus on this little blog of mine. I have a few sponsors I'm dying to share with you, and I can't wait to tell you about another new adventure I'm taking. I promise I'm not trying to vague blog but once I have things up and running I'll be sharing here! So this is to new adventures and new awakenings.
These pictures are of my favorite little area of downtown right now. Target, H&M, Zara, Sprinkles, Mendocino Farms….
disneyland disneyland yeah a little slice of heaven.

disneyland again

I just had to share these pictures of the boys in front of the castle (the hand holding always gets me). Ardo keeps asking me to go back to Disneyland and honestly I can't wait to go back! I think our next trip will be in October (well Im hoping). The weather should be cooler and I just love seeing that giant Mickey pumpkin. I'm also being very optimistic with the weather cooling down, last year it was hot til December. Oh fall please be good to us. disneyland disneyland disneyland disneyland Group hug! disneyland
